Root Evidence Ventures was founded in 2022 with a single conviction: the most transformative opportunities in venture are at the intersection of consumer behavior and health outcomes. We launched with a $75M Seed Round in April 2022, backed by leading institutional investors who share our thesis.

Our name reflects our philosophy. We look for root evidence of product-market fit before the market does. Before the metrics are polished, before the press coverage, before the category is obvious. That is where we do our best work.

Based in New York, we are close to the consumer brands ecosystem that drives innovation in retail, beauty, wellness, and health. We partner deeply with a small number of companies per year to ensure every founder gets our full attention and support.
